CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0. R-86- 9a
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION FOR THE CHARTER BOARD
POSITIONS FOR DISTRICT 2, DISTRICT 4 AND
AT LARGE; AND PROVIDI-NG AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the General Election was held on March 11,
1986, wherein the positions of Charter Board District 2, for
a two-year term, and Charter Board District 4, for a two --year
term, and Charter Board At Large, for a two-year term, were
to be filled; and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots, and has
certified such results to the City Clerk of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board, and has presented her
findings to the City Council for a formal Certification and
Declaration of the Results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The following are the certified results of
the votes received by candidates seeking the office of
Charter Board, Districts 2, 4 and At Large, at the General
Election, March 11, 1986.
AT LARGE:
Margaret Wallach 4595
Irving Weber 4901
Irving Weber, having received the highest number of
votes cast in At Large seat is, therefore, declared to have
been elected as Charter Board Representative At Large, for a
term of one (1) year.

Michael Moss, having received the highest number of
votes cast for District 4 seat is, therefore, declared to
have been elected as Charter Board member for a term of two
(2) years.
DISTRICT 2: That Sol Robinson, being the only
candidate who filed for the Charter Board, District 2, is
declared to have been elected to that seat for a term of two
(2) years.
SECTIQN 2: That Irving Weber, Michael Moss and
Sol Robinson shall take office in accordance with the pro-
visions of Section 2-4 of the Code of Ordinances.
E TION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18th day of March, 1986.
