A RESOLUTION, PURSUANT TO SECTION 28-216
(c)(4)(iii) OF THE CITY CODE AS AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE 0-84-1, SETTING THE AMOUNT
OF A CASH DEMOLITION BOND FOR TEMPORARY
STRUCTURES BASED ON AN ENGINEER'S OR
ARCHITECT'S SEALED ESTIMATE WITH A
MINIMUM BOND BEING $2,000.00; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the City Council enacted Ordinance 0-84-1 regarding
temporary model, sales and administrative structures, Amending Section 28-216
of the -City Code, and
WHEREAS, Subsection 26-216(c)(4)(iii) as Amended provides for
a cash bond to be posted by applicants of temporary structures for the
demolition of the structure, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish an amount of
the demolition bond, as permitted by the City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the demolition bond posted by applicants of
temporary structures, pursuant to Subsection 28-216(c)(4)(iii) of the City
Code as Amended by Ordinance 0-84-1 shall be an amount equal to 1007o of the
cost of demolition of the structure as certified and sealed by an engineer
or architect, but not less than $2,000.00.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
