2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN ORD-
14 INANCE REQUESTED BY KINGS POINT OF TAMARAC PER-
TAINING TO NUMBER, SIZE AND LOCATION OF CERTAIN
,t TEMPORARY COMMUNITY DIRECTIONAL SIGNS; AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
6 WHEREAS, Kings Point of Tamarac has requested a waiver from the

Sign Ordinance No. 80-34 (Code Section 21) governing number, size and
location of certain temporary community directional signs; and

-WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request and has

made recommendation thereon; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,

FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by

Kings Point of Tamarac for temporary community directional signs at
Ib
the following locations is hereby approved:
1) south side of McNab Road - Tract M - sign to be 4' x 8', 32'overall
2) north side of Commercial Boulevard -sign to be 8' x 4', 32' overall
3) west side of University Drive, one block north of Commerical
�0 Boulevard - sign to be 8' x 41, 32' overall
4) north side of McNab Road (east of 8333 W. McNab Road) sign to be
8' x n:', 32.' overall.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval: All signs in Section 1 above

are subject to City Code Section 21-8, Paragraph (2), which refers to

the South Florida Building Code regarding signs over 24 square feet.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
