CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-
A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING A CITY REPRESENTATIVE
TO HANDLE DETAILS IN CONNECTION WITH SISTER CITY
KIRYAT TIVON; AND
PROVIDIRG-AN EFFECTIVE DATE..
WHEREAS, the City Council anticipates having a sister
city in Kiryat Tivon, Israel; and
WHEREAS, the finalizing of details relating to the
Sister City Relationship will require some personal contact
with officials of Kiryat Tivon;
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed Tamarac resident,
Robert Shurr as Commissioner of Human Relations pursuant to
Resolution R-83-177 for a term expiring March 1, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the City Countil extended the appointment by
motion at a March 1, 1984 meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Robert Shurr is hereby designated as
Commissioner of Human Relations for the purpose of making
these contacts with officials in Kiryat Tivon and provide
information, interpretation of proposals, etc., and provide
information to the City Council for a renewed term extending
to March 1, 1985.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be effective

from March 1, 1984 until March 1, 1985 unless extended by the
City Council of Tamarac. -
