RESOLUTION NO. R-84-.17�Z9
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO CALL A PERFORM4NCE BOND
POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY CWM,INC.,
FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AT COLONY WEST
COUNTRY CLUB; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, CWM, INC., as Principal, and Broward Federal Savings
and'Loan Association as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of
Credit No. 3-UFM in the amount of $32,689.50 to guarantee public
improvements at Colony West Country Club; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has found that the work
has been satisfactorily completed and has recommended release of
said bond upon receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount
of $9,492.25; and
WHEREAS, based upon the Engineering Department's recommenda-
tion, the City Council, by adoption of Resolution 84-281 on
September 12, 1984, approved release of this letter of credit
subject to receipt of the appropriate warranty bond; and
WHEREAS, the letter of credit is due to expire on January 5,
1985, and a warranty bond has not been submitted to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City officials are author-
ized to call the Letter of Credit No. 3-UFM posted by CWM, Inc.,
as Principal, and Broward Federal Savings and Loan Association, a:
Surety, in the amount of $32,689.50 for public improvements at
Colony West Country Club if a one-year warranty bond in the
amount of $9,492.25 is not received on or before January 2, 1985.
SECTION 2: If an appropriate warranty bond is submitted to
the City on or before January:12, 1985, then Letter of Credit
No. 3-UFM shall be released.
