CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE
SIGN ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY WATERFORD
AT WOODMONT LTD., FOR WOODMONT TRACT
48 PERTAINING TO SIGNS ON PROPERTY
OTHER THAN THE APPLICANTS; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Waterford at Woodmont, Ltd. has requested a waiver
from the Sign Ordinance No. 84-58 (Code Chapter 21) governing.signs
on property other than the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request
and has made recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by
Waterford at Woodmont, Ltd. for Woodmont Tract 48 for a temporary
community directional sign on the west side of Northwest 81 Avenue
at Southgate Boulevard and a second temporary community directional
sign on the east side of Northwest 81 Avenue at Southgate Boulevard
on property owned by Woodmont Country Club, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval (if any):
1. This waiver shall expire on December 27, 1985.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
