CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84- T�
A RESOLUTION RELEASING TWO PERFORMANCE BONDS
POSTED FOR WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
BY LENNAR HOMES, INC. FOR THE ASHMONT PHASE II
PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Lennar Homes, Inc., as Principal, and Citibank, N.A.,
as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit No. NABG-R90957F
in the amount of $15,581.35 to guarantee water system improvements
and Letter of Credit No. NABG-R90958Fin the amount of $15,064.10 to
guarantee sewer system improvements for Ashmont Phase II; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has found that the work has
been satisfactorily completed and has recommended release of said
bondsupon receipt of one-year warranty bonds in the amounts of
$4,184.45 for the water system and $4,260.91 for the sewer system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Letters of Credit No. NABG-R90957F and
NABG-R90958F posted by Lennar Homes, Inc.,as Principal and Citibank
N.A., as Surety in the amounts of $15,581.35 and $15,064.10 for water
and sewer system improvements at Ashmont Phase II are HEREBY RELEASED,
subject to receipt of one-year warranty bonds in the amounts of
$4,184.45 for the water system and $4,260.91 for the sewer system.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
