CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-�1_V
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
REQUESTED BY 13AYSHORE ASSOCIATES FOR THE PROPOSED
ISLAND CLUB APARTMENTS; PETITION #26-Z-84; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that Council may
grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and loading requirements whenever
a hardship would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further
provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the proposed Island Club Apartments; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing thereon and
has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the limited waiver
requested in the application of Bayshore Associates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application of Bayshore Associates, to permit a waiver
to allow all 9' x 20' parking spaces instead of the required 10' x 20' parking spaces
for the proposed Island Club Apartments, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver
would not be determmental to the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens
of the City.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval:
Allowance of 9' x 20' parking spaces instead of the required
10' x 20', in order to provide parking closer to the Luildirgs and
increasing the back-up space to 26 feet.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
