RESOLUTION NO. R-84- 35
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER
OF PARKING FOR SUTTER OFFICE/RETAIL
COMPLEX, A/K/A VILLAGE SQUARE; PETITION
#25-Z-83, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and
loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist -by adhering
to strict application thereof, and further provides that the waiver
would not be detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of
the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Sutter Office/Retail Complex,
a/k/a Village Square; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Sutter Office/Retail
Complex, Petition #25-Z-83.
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for a limited parking waiver
for Sutter Office/Retail Complex,a/k/a Village Square, Petition
#25-Z-83, is HEREBY approved, authorizing 900 parking designated fc
employees, with a sign so indicating in a form approved by the City
Planner, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the
public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoptio
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 8th day of bruary, 19,84.
