CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-_3? Ck
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A PERMANENT EXCEPTION PERMIT
TO TEXACO U.S.A.,, IN LIEU OF SATISFACTION OF THE
PLATTING PREREQUISITE AS PROVIDED IN CHAPTER 20 OF
THE TAMARAC CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Texaco, U.S.A., has applied for a permanent exception permit in
lieu of satisfying certain platting requirements of Chapter 20 of the Tamarac Code
of Ordinances in order for site plan presentation for construction of a stockroom
and soakage pit; and
WHEREAS, this property is located at 6900 North University Drive, and is
known as University Texaco Station; and
WHEREAS, the property involved is owned by Texaco, U.S.A.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by MOTION on October 10, 1984, approved this
exception permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following findings of facts are made pursuant to
Section 20-4 of the Tamarac Code of Ordinances regarding the proposed construction
on the property involved.
A. An undue hardship would be imposed if all the standards set forth in
Chapter 20 were complied with and such compliance would thus be unreasonable.
B. The granting of this exception would not set a precedent in any way
for other and unlike conditions.
C. Such permit for exception would not be detrimental to the interests of
the community as set forth in Chapter 20.
D. The property is adequately served with water and sewer facilities and
no further construction is contemplated.
E. No additional road right-of-way dedications are required.
F. No additional easements, including, water, sewer and storm drainage,
are required.
G. No dedication of recreational land is required under Chapter 20.

SECTION 2: That a permanent exception permit is hereby granted to Texaco,
U.S.A., in lieu of satisfaction of the platting requirements of Chapter 20 of the
Tamarac Code of Ordinances for the property located at 6900 North University Drive
for the purpose of construction of a stockroom and a soakage pit.
SECTION 3: That the following conditions are hereby placed on this permit:
A. This exception permit is conditioned on approval of a site plan by
City Council.
B. Building permits must be applied for and issued by the City within
one (1) year otherwise this exception permit shall become null and void.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
