R-84- 73o�26 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A PERMANENT EXCEPTION PERMIT TO MOBIL OIL CORPORATION, IN LIEU OF SATISFACTION OF THE PLATTING PREREQUISITE AS PROVIDED IN CHAPTER 20 OF THE TAMARAC CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR A SIGN TO BE LOCATED AT 4999 NORTH STATE ROAD 7; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Mobil Oil Corporation, has applied for a permanent exception permit inlieu of satisfying certain platting requirements of Chapter 20 of the Tamarac Code of Ordinances pertaining to approval of a revised site plan in order to erect a ground sign; and WHEREAS, the property is located at 4999 North State Road 7; and WHEREAS, the property involved is owned by Mobil Oil Corporation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the following findings of fact are made pursuant to Section 20-4 of the Tamarac Code of Ordinances regarding the installation of a ground sign on the property involved. A. An undue hardship would be imposed if all the standards set forth in Chapter 20 were complied with and such compliance would thus be unreasonable. B. The granting of this exception would not set a precedent in any way for other and unlike conditions. C. Such permit for exception would not be detrimental to the interests of the community as set forth in Chapter 20. D. The property is adequately served with water and sewer facilities and no further construction is contemplated. E. No additional road right-of-way dedications are required. F. No additional easements, including water, sewer and storm drainage, are required. G. SECTION 3: That the following conditions are hereby placed on this permit: A. This permanent exception is granted only for installation of a ground sign. B. This exception permit is conditioned on approval of a revised site plan for a ground sign by City Council. SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
