CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84- .-,.7�
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COUNCIL MEMBERS TO SERVE
IN CERTAIN LIAISON POSITIONS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance 84-56 which amended the
procedure by which liaison positions are distributed among its members; and
WHEREAS, the Council at this time wishes to designate Council liaisons to
City committees, governmental entities outside the City and special projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Mayor Philip B. Kravitz is hereby designated as Liaison
to the following:
Veterans Affairs
Welcoming Committee
County
Beautification Committee
Board of Adjustment
Consumer Affairs
SECTION 2: That Vice Mayor Sydney M. Stein is hereby designated as
Liaison to the following:
Planning and Community Development
Airport Board
Rules and Appeals
Drainage
Public Information Committee
Grants
Chamber of Commerce
SECTION 3: That Councilman Jack Stelzer is hereby designated as Liaison
to the following:
School Board and Tamarac Elementary School
County Liaison on Agendas
Emergency Medical Service
Solid Waste
West Revitalization
Golf Feasibility

SECTION 4: That Councilman Raymond J. Munitz is hereby designated as
Liaison to the following:
Presidents Council
Parks and Recreation
Community Center
Budget
Sister City
SECTION 5: That Councilman Allan C. Bernstein is hereby designated as
Liaison to the following:
Social Services
Yard Drainage
Sun Dial
Special Assignments
Burglar Alarm
Investment Committee
SECTION 6: The above liaison designations shall be in effect until
March 12, 1985, unless amended prior to that time by resolution of the City Council.
SECTION 7: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1984.
