A RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE TO TAMWAY GRAYSTONE
JOINT VENTURE, OF A VIOLATION OF TAMARAC CITY
CODE 23-18, A BROKEN SIDEWALK CREATING A
SAFETY HAZARD AT THE FAIRWAYS OF TAMARAC III;
AND DIRECTING THE PROPERTY OWNER TO REPAIR
SUCH SIDEWALK TO CONFORM TO TAMARAC CITY CODE
APT912 23. ARTICLE
WHEREAS, the Tamarac Police Department has issued a
Special Service Report, dated August 21, 1984, identifying
sidewalk damage at the 8500 block of Lagos de Campos Boule-
vard, a Fairways III condominium building alleging a
violation of the City Code and identifying a hazard to
pedestrian traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Tamarac Engineering Department has
notified the owner, Tamway Graystone Joint Venture, of such
sidewalk damage being in violation of the Tamarac City Code;
and
WHEREAS, the owner has not yet taken action to
repair such sidewalk damage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
BMTION 1: That the City Council hereby author-
izes the appropriate city officials to give written notice,
as prescribed by Tamarac City Code Section 23-24, to Tamway
Graystone Joint Venture, of a violation of Tamarac City Code
Section 23-18, a broken sidewalk creating a safety hazard, at
the Fairways of Tamarac III.
CTION 2: That the notice to the property owner
shall direct such owner to repair such sidewalk damage,
described in the attached Exhibit A, as authorized by Tamarac
City Code Section 23-24, and shall state the remedies for
non-compliance, as authorized by Tamarac City Code Section
23-26 in the event of sixty days after notice having passed
without compliance.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
