CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE PRIMARY
ELECTION VOTING ON AMENDMENT TO SECTION 4.04 OF
THE CITY CHARTER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a Primary Election was held on September 4, 1984, wherein the
electorate was asked to vote an an amendment to Section 4.04 of the Charter of the
City of Tamarac; and
.WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the results of the
machine voting and absentee ballots and has certified such results to the City
Clerk of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification from the County
Canvassing Board and has presented their findings to the City Council for a formal
certification and Declaration of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following is hereby certified and declared as the
official results of the public vote at the Primary Election of September 4, 1984,
for the proposed Charter Amendment:
Amendment to Section 4.04 of the City Charter

NO 4242
SECTION 2: That the amendment, not having received approval of a
majority of the voters voting on the amendment, does not become a part of the
existing City Charter of the City of Tamarac, which was adopted at the General
Election held on March 9, 1976, and subsequently amended.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this Z,7Ia day of 1984.
