RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR ANNUAL
REQUIREMENT OF CHLORINE ESTIMATED TO BE
185/.1 TON CYLINDERS, BID #84-19
WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration
to go to bid at its meeting on July 25 .. _ 1984. and,
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News
a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on August 7__ _
and August 14 1984 and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Au ust_2.9 , 198 4 , and
WHEREAS,Allied Universal Corporation is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Allied Universal Corporation in
the amount of $259.80 per ton, Total Amount of $48,063, to be paid as
purchased during the balance of the fiscal year, is hereby approved.
