CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-,
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND POSTED
FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY BAY COLONY PROPERTY
COMPANY, INC., FOR BROOKWOOD GARDENS (LAKES
COLONY); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, Bay Colony Property Company, Inc., as Principal, and Fireman's
Fund Insurance Company, as Surety, has filed with the City a Surety Bond in the
amount of $420,395.00 to guarantee public improvements at Brookwood Gardens (Lake
Colony); and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended release of said bond upon
receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of $133,512.07 and payment of
additional engineering fees in the amount of $11,117.65.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Surety Bond posted by Bay Colony Property Company,
Inc., as Principal, and Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, as Surety, in the amount
of $420,395.00 for public improvements at Brookwood Gardens (Lake Colony), is
HEREBY RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of
$133,512.07 and payment of additional engineering fees in the amount of $11,117.65.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption..
