CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-��
A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO DISPOSITION OF A
WARRANTY BOND POSTED BY LENNAR HOMES, INC. FOR
THE TAMARAC GARDENS PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Lennar Homes, Inc., as Principal, with Citibank, N.A.,
as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit No. NABG-R90488F
in the amount of $10,696.69 to guarantee certain public improvements
associated with the Tamarac Gardens project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work; and
WHEREAS, the Principal has been notified that the work is not
properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC,FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations as set forth above are true
and correct. .
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to call Letter of Credit No. NABG-R90488F in the amount
of $10,696.69 posted to guarantee certain public improvements
associated with the Tamarac Gardens project if the remedial repairs
are not completed on or before February 1, 1984, or if the bond has
not been extended by that date.
SECTION 3: That said Letter of Credit be released if the
remedial repairs are accomplished on or before February 1, 1984.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
