5 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO AN
AGREEMENT WITH RICHARD S. RUBIN, P.A., FOR
6 PLANNING CONSULTANT PURSUANT TO PROVISIONS OF
THE FLORIDA CONSULTANTS COMPETITIVE NEGOTIA-
7 TIONS ACT;_AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
6 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered revising its
9 contract with Richard Rubin.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
11 THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
12 SECTION 1: That the contract with Richard S. Rubin,
13 P.A., formerly known as Richard S. Rubin, A.I.A., attached as
14 Exhibit A to Resolution R-81-148 is hereby amended to read as
15 follows:
16 3. Compensation
17 RICHARD RUBIN shall be compensated for
18 services performed on behalf of the City of Tamarac
19 in the amount of <TWO----Tff0USAN-a--ONE---H�DRED-
20 ( ;1fl .-Qe) THREE THOUSAND_ TWO _HUNDRED
21 ($3,200.00). DOLLARS per month for a minimum of 80
22 hours. Hours worked in excess of 80 hours per
23 month shall be compensated at the rate of <Th±-rty-
24 (:DO)� Forty=FiyeDollars per hour. If
25 in a given month RICHARD RUBIN works less than 80
26 hours, his compensation for the following month
27 shall be reduced by the amount of «briny--F$3f1-.-08)>
28 Forty (40.001 Dollars per hour for each hour less
29 than 80 hours worked during the preceding month.
30 Draftsman's fees shall be billed at _Twenty -Five
31 25.00)_pollars_per hour.
32 The compensation paid shall be net. There
33 shall be no benefits provided by the CITY and no
34 travel monies or expense monies other than

blueprinting or photographic materials paid by the
CITY for travel within Broward, Dade or Palm Beach
Counties.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective July
1, 1984.
