WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration
to go to bid at its meeting on Apri 1. 1.1. � 3.984 , and,
WHE4EAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News
a newspaper of 'general circulation in Broward County on May 3
and rIay 10 198 4 , and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on May 29 , 198 4 , and
WHEREAS, Action Fence Corporation is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

Fencing in of Parks Equipment Compound at
Tamarac Park
Contractor shall furnish all labor material
and appliances necessary to complete all
fence work specified.
Contractor, prior to submitting a Bid, shal
investigate the site to verify all con-
ditions prior to construction.
Materials
Chain link fence: 8' high, 9 gauge,
148 inch diameter, 2' mesh fabric with top
and bottom salvages barbed.
Fabric to be galvanized to ASTM. A-392 -
74 class, 1.2 02'.1 sq. foot.
Bottom tension wire - 7 gauge galvanized
spring coil wire. Fasten to bottom edge
of fabric with H06 rings every 24"
Barbed wire - aluminum coated steel.
Barbed wire composed of 2 strands of 12 1/2
gauge wire with 14 gauge barbs in 4-point
pattern spaced 3" apart; per ASTM A 585 -
71 Type II, Class II
Posts - shall be scheduled 40 galvanized
pipe per ASTM A 120-73 or SS40 Tube pipe
Cate posts - 4" O.D. nominal
