CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC CLARIFYING
CITY COUNCIL MEM13ERS ENTITLEMENT TO HOSPITALIZA-
TION AND MAJOR MEDICAL BENEFITS WHICH BENEFITS
WERE PROVIDED ORIGINALLY IN RESOLUTION NO. SO--
187 OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
by Resolution No. 80-187 provided City Council Members with hospitalization
and major medical insurance benefits and coverage; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to clarify the effective date of
initiation of coverage and termination of coverage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
SECTION l: City Council Members shall be entitled to be
covered by hospitalization and major medical insurance on the first day of the
month following their election or appointment and filing of their oath of
office with the City Clerk.
SECTION 2: Hospitalization and major medical insurance will
terminate for any Council Member thirty (30) days following their termination
of office.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
