CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-/_
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS
TO CALL THE WARRANTY BOND POSTED BY TAMWAY CORPORATION
AND GREYSTONE FAIRWAYS CORPORATION FOR THE FAIRWAYS III
PROJECT: AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS Tamway Corporation and Graystone Fairways Corporation,
as principal, with the Toronto -Dominion Bank, as surety, has filed
with the City Letter of Credit No. 408 in the amount -of $5,000.00
to guarantee public improvements associated with the Fairways III
project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work; and
WHEREAS, the Principal has been notified that the work is not
properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations as set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to call Letter of Credit No. 408 in the amount of
$5,000.00 posted to guarantee public improvements associated with
the Fairways III project if a six-month extension to this bond has
not been provided by January 27, 1984.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
