CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-1"
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN
ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY TAMARAC MARKET PLACE
LAND TRUST: AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Tamarac Market Place Land Trust has requested a waiver from the
Sign Ordinance No. 80-34 (Code Chapter 21) governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee reviewed this request and has made
recommendation thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official reviewed said waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Ordinance requested by Tamarac
Market Place Land Trust, for a permanent, three --sided ground sign at the soutYwest
corner of Nob Hill Road and McNab Road, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval (if any):
1: Applicant must submit revised site plan.
2: Base of the sign from ground to bottom of sign shall be a solid
opaque surface.
3: Shrubbery such as philodendron or dwarf oleander must be placed
at the base of the sign.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2-3 day of 1984.
