CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-84-
A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO DISPOSITION OF A WARRANTY
BOND POSTED BY FEDERATED DEPARTMENT STORES, INC. FOR
THE RICHWAY PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Federated Department Stores, Inc., as Principal, with
Insurance Company of North America, as Surety, has filed with the
City Bond No. 521976 in the amount of $14,642.50 to guarantee
public improvements associated with the Richway project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work; and
WHEREAS, the Principal has been notified that the work is not
properly completed
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations as set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to call Bond No. 521976 in the amount of $14,642.50
posted to guarantee public improvements associated with the Richway
project if the remedial repairs are not completed on or before
January 30, 1984, or if the bond has not been extended by that date
SECTION 3: That said bond be released if the remedial repairs
are accomplished on or before January 30, 1984.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
