RESOLUTION NO. R-84--'/g6�
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION
TO PERMIT A DAY CARE CENTER IN A B-1 ZONING
DISTRICT REQUESTED BY 14AIZCY B. HEIKKINEN,
PETITION #23-Z-83; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the
granting of a special exception to permit a day care center in a B-1
zoning district; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has been
given an opportunity to express their views concerning the applica-
tion for special exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the
petition for special exception would be in keeping with the public
health, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to permit
a day care center in a B-1 zoning district on the east side of
Northwest 70 Avenue, south of McNab Road and south of the existing
two story store/apartments at the Southeast corner of said
intersection is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
If, at time of Site Plan review,the Council determines a side-
walk is required within the property, the applicant will pro-
vide an easement for the sidewalk on the eastside in conjunction
with development of the project.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
