RESOLUTION NO. R-84- //G
A RESOLUTION RELEASING TWO PERFORMANCE
BONDS POSTED FOR SANITARY SEWER AND
WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
AT KINGS POINT RECREATIONAL COMPLEX;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Lennar Homes, Inc., as Principal, and Citibank, N.A.,
as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit No.
NABG-R90759F in the amount of $9,855.00 to guarantee sanitary sewer
system improvements and Letter of Credit No. NABG-R90763F in the
amount of $31,138.50 to guarantee water distribution system
improvements at Kings Point Recreational Complex; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has found that the work has been
satisfactorily completed and has recommended release of said bonds
upon receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of $3,612.68
for the sanitary sewer system and a one-year warranty bond in the
amount of $7,421.55 for the water distribution system and payment of
additional engi:neoring fees in the amount of $250.28.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Letter of Credit No. NABG-R90759F in the
amount of $9,855.00 for the sanitary sewer system and Letter of
Credit No. NABG-R90763F in the amount of $31,138.50 for the water
distribution system posted by Lennar Homes, Inc., as Principal, and
Citibank, N.A., as Surety, for the Kings Point Recreational Complex,
is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one-year warranty bond
in the amount of $3,612.68 for the sanitary sewer system and a
one-year warranty bond in the amount of $7,421.55 for the water
distribution system and payment of additional engineering fees'in t-he
amount.of $250.28.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
