CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO: A�, 9Y-/0,_3
A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 2-9.1. OF THE, CITY
CODE AUTHORIZING THE AUCTIONING OF A 2.89 ACRE
PARCEL OF LAND WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF SOUTHGATE BOULEVARD APPROXIMATELY 1200 FEET EAST
OF NORTHWEST 88th AVENUE WHICH IS PRESENTLY OWNED
BY THE CITY, WHICH IS PROPOSED BY FLORIDA POWER AND
LIGHT COMPANY FOR THE LOCATION OF A NEIGHBORI100D SU5--
STATION,• AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is willing to offer a particular
parcel of land for sale which is owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Code provides for a procedure of such a sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 71ih, CITY COUNCIL 01' THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the parcel of land described in Exhibit "A"
attached to this Resolution located approximately 1200 feet East of Northwest
88th Avenue on the North side of Soathr,ate Boulevard for 700 feet and 180 feet
deep, owned by the City, is horeby authorizod anc! directed, pursuant to
Section 2-9.1 of the City Code, as follows:
A. The place of the sale will be City Hall, West
Conference Room, 5811 Northwest 88th Avenue,
Tamarac, Florida.
B. The date and time of the sale will be Wednesda
Ma 2 , 1984 at 10:00 a.m.
C. The base bid offered by Florida Power and Light
Company is $114,000.00.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk is directed to advertise the
specifics of the auction indicated in Section 1 above, in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel once a week for two weeks preceeding the auction.
SECTION 3: That the City Council hereby determines that these
actions are in the best interest of the City of Tamarac.

A portion of 'tract 21, Florida Fruitlands Company Subdivision No. 2 of Section 33,
Township 48 South, Range 41 East, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat
took 1 Page 102 of the Public Records of Palm teach County, Florida; being more
particularly described as follows:
Commence at the Southwest Corner of said Section 33; thence N 01016112" W, along
the West line of said Section 33, for 146.20 feet; thence N 89°00'58" E. along the
North Right of Way Line of Southgate Blvd., said line being 180.00 feet South of,
as measured perpendicular to, the South Right of Way line of the South Florida
'Water Management District Canal 14, for a distance of 92.18 feet'to the Point of
Beginning of the following described parcel of land: thence N 00°59'02" W for
180.00 feet; thence N 89°00'58" E, along the South Right of Way line of said
Canal 14 for 700.00 feet: thence S 00°59'02" E for 180.00 feet; thence S 89°00'58" W.
