CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO: RT-84 - n
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COVENANT CONCERNING THE
DEVELOPMENT OF A FOUR (4) ACRE TRACT OF LAND OWNED
BY FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT OOMPANY AND LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF SOUTHGATE BOULEVARD, ONE (1)
QUARTER MILE EAST OF NORTHWEST 88th AVENUE AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY A=RNEY TO EXECUTE
SAID COVENANT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac has considered a
restrictive Covenant offered by Florida Power and Light Company,
NOW, THERETURE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Covenant which is attached as Exhibit "A" is
hereby approved.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City of Tamarac and the City Attorney
are hereby authorized to execute the said Covenant on behalf of the City of
Tamarac. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to record the fully
executed Covenant in the Public Records of Broward County.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1984.

KNOW All MEN BY THESE PRESENT, that FLORIDA POWER and
LIGHT COMPANY, (P.O. Box 6367, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
33310) a Florida Corporation hereinafter referred to as
"FP&L", by its undersigned authorized agent on behalf of
itself and its successors in ownership does hereby agree with
the CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA (5811 N.W. 88 Avenue, Tamarac,
Florida 33321) hereinafter referred to as "CITY" as follows:
1. FP&L agrees and binds itself, and its successors in
ownership to comply with the current State Laws, City Ordi-
nances and applicable zoning standards and regulations as
exist at the time of the execution of this covenant, and as
may be amended from time to time in the future, in the
development of that parcel of land described in exhibit
attached hereto which is presently owned by FP&L.
2. FP&L agrees that this Covenant shall remain in full
force and effect until released by a Resolution of the
Tamarac City Council.
