R-84- 100 A RESOLUTION APPOIN'IING MEMBERS AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND ESTABLISHING TERMS OF OFFICE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Article III, Chapter 28, of the City Code, created a Planning Commission and provided the term of office of Planning Commissioner shall expire on April 15 of the appropriate year; and WHEREAS, Section 28-19 provides that not more than five (5) alternate members to the Planning Commission shall be appointed by Council to serve for one (1) year terms, expiring April 15th; and WHEREAS, Council desires to implement the provisions of Article III, of Chapter 28 of the Code, by appointing members and alternate members to the Planning Commission in compliance with the terms of the Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1AMAR.AC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the following persons are hereby appointed as members of the Planning Commission to serve for a term of two (2) years, expiring April 15, 1986: Larry Bender Saul Mesing,er Martin Schoenfeld SECTION 2: That the following persons are hereby appointed as alternate members of the Planning Commission to serve for a term of one (1) year, expiring April 15, 1985: Mery Cohen Lynn Redfield Lee Rappeport Morris Glicksman SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
