CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83-
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF FISHING
COMMISSIONER, SETTING FORTH POWERS AND DUTIES;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: ESTABLISHMENT OF FISHING COMMISSIONER
There is hereby established the position of Tamarac Fishing Commissioner..
The.appointee shall be appointed by Resolution, shall serve with no compensation
and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
SECTION 2: POWERS AND DUTIES OF FISHING COMMISSIONER
The powers and duties of the Fishing Commissioner are to:
1. Work with the City administration to co-ordinate programs to improve
fishing conditions in the City.
2. Work with the City administration to answer questions concerning
fishing in the City.
3. Work with the City administration to coordinate the establishment of
fishing classes for City residents.
4. Make recommendations and provide input to the City Council in his area
of responsibility.
5. Attend and participate in meetings of the Recreation Comrni.ttee as an
honorary nx--�.
SECTION 3: APPOINTMENT
That _,.P1urrgy Greenberg is hereby appointed to the position of
Fishing Commissioner for a period to May 1, 1984.

SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon its final passage.
