RESOLUTION NO. R-83-353
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO CALL THE PERFORMANCE BOND POSTED
BY C.W.C.C., INC. FOR THE COLONY WEST COUNTRY
CLUB PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, C.W.C.C., Inc., as principal, with NCNB National Bank,l
as surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit No. SBO130 in
the amount of $32,689.50 to guarantee public improvements associated
with the Colony West Country Club project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work; and
WHEREAS, the Principal has been notified that the work is not
properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations as set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to call Letter of Credit SBO130 in the amount of
$32,689.50 posted to guarantee public improvements associated with
the Colony West Country Club project if the remedial repairs are
not completed on or before December 30, 1983, or if the bond has not
been extended by that date.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
