RESOLUTION NO. R-83- 320
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION FOR
CONSUMPTION OF BEER AND WINE REQUESTED BY THE
COURTYARD OF TAMARAC, INC. IN BAYS 6 AND 7 OF
LAKESIDE PLAZA, 5435 AND 5437 NORTH STATE ROAD 7,
PETITION NO. 19-Z-83; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the
granting of special exception to permit the consumption of beer and
wine on the premises of The Courtyard of Tamarac, Inc. in Bays 6 and
7 of Building C at Lakeside Plaza, 5435 and 5437 North State Road 7;
and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has been
given an opportunity to express their view concerning the application
for special exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the
petition for special exception would be in keeping with the public
health, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to permit
the consumption of beer and wine at The Courtyard of Tamarac, Inc.
in Bays 6 and 7 of Lakeside Plaza, 5435 and 5437 North State Road 7,
is APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. Approval not transferable to any other individual or
location without approval of the City Council;
2. Hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., local time; and
3. No sale prior to 12:00 noon on Sundays.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
