RESOLUTION NO. R-83-g?��
A RESOLUTION AMENDING R 83-108 AMENDING THE NUMBER
OF MEMBERS TO BE APPOINTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL TO
THE INVESTMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 4 of Resolution R-83-108 is hereby
amended to provide as follows:
"Section 4: The Committee shall be composed of at least
three (3), but not more than five (5) members appointed
by the City Council from the general public, who shall
serve without compensation at the pleasure of the City
Council. The Mayor or his designee, and the Finance
Director or his designee, shall serve as ex-officio
members of the Committee. No public members shall be
actively engaged as an employee, officer, Board Member,
consultant or representative of any financial institution
or investment brokerage firm. Three (3) affirmative votes
shall be required for any action by the Committee."
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this Z day of 1983.
