CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83-,,2497'
A RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING
THE SALE OF CERTAIN LAW BOOKS; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has notified the City Council
that certain law books are not needed for use by the City, and it
is recommended that these law books be declared surplus and
offered for sale through a competitive bid process; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept this recommendation
and proceed to dispose of these law books in accordance with the
provisions of the City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,'
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That certain law books described in the Notice of
Sale attached hereto, are declared to be surplus City property and
are authorized to be offered for sale through the solicitation for
sealed bids.
SECTION 2: Bid award shall be subject to review and approval
of the City Council.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.

These books may be inspected and further information may be
obtained by contacting Jon Henning, City Attorney, at
(305) 722-5900, Ext. 25.
w Sealed Bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. on fR,aro3CR 5_ 0
and will be opened publicly at that time at City Hall.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
and waive formalities in the bidding, and to award the bid to
any vendor consistent with the policies of the City.
