CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83- 282
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO CALL THE WARRANTY BOND POSTED
BY MONTWOOD, INC., FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
ASSOCIATED WITH WOODMONT TRACTS 68/77 PROJECT;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Montwood, Inc., as principal, with First,National
'Bank of Chicago, as surety, has filed with the City Letter of
Credit No. 1402-00302683 in the amount of $33,301.68 to guarantee
public improvements associated with the Woodmont Tracts 68/77
project;and
WHEREAS, the band is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work is
not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That Letter of Credit No. 1402-00302683, in the
amount of $33,301.68, posted by Montwood, Inc. as principal, with
First National Bank of Chicago, as surety, is hereby called by
the City of Tamarac if an extension has not been provided to
said bond by October 25, 1983.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become -'effective upon
adoption.
