CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 83-268
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR TAMARAC MARKET PLACE LAND TRUST AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER
OF MCNAB AND NOB HILL ROADS FOR A PROPOSED SHOPPING CENTER;
PETITION #16-Z-83; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
-ouncil may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and load-
Lng requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering to strict
application thereof, and further provides that the waiver would not be
detrimental to public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of
the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at a proposed shopping center at the
southwest corner of McNab and Nob Hill Roads; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
1limited waiver requested in the application of Tamarac Market Place Land Trusi
at the southwest corner of McNab and Nob Hill Roads, Petition #16-Z-83.

21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
22 FLORIDA:
23 SECTION 1: That the application for Tamarac Market Place Land
24 Trust at the southwest corner of McNab and Nob Hill Roads, Petition #16-Z-83,
25 1 requesting 909 parking for nineteen (19) handicap parking spaces,

271is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver wiould not be detrimental to

29 SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
