CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83-.24,17
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION TO
PERMIT THE OPERATION OF A COCKTAIL LOUNGE IN A
PORTION OF BAY 37 AND ALL OF BAY 38 OF 3 LAKES
PLAZA AT 3224 W. COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD REQUEsTM BY
-TNT RISES_,. INC., PETITION #15-Z-83; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the granting of
special exception to permit the operation of a cocktail lounge in a portion of Bay 37
and all of Bay 38 of 3 Lakes Plaza at 3224 W. Commercial Boulevard, Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has been given an
opportunity to express their views concerning the application for special exception;
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the petition for
special exception would be in keeping with the public hearlth, safety and general
welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to permit the
operation of a cocktail lounge in a portion of Bay 37 and all of Bay 38 of 3 Lakes
;Plaza at 3224 W. Commercial Boulevard, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval
1 — 2:00 a.m. local time closing with no sales prior to 12:00 noon on
Sundays;
2 — This license is not transferable to any other party without the
Council's approval, with the payment of applicable fees for the
application for transfer.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
