CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. - .i3
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE
AND CARRY OUT THE TERMS OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH MILLER AND MEIER & ASSOCIATES,
ARCHITECTS, FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A
MUNICIPAL COMPLEX; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has engaged in negotiations for Professional
Contracted Services as provided by the Competitive Negotiations Act in the
Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated an Agreement for architectural
services with Miller and Meier and Associates, Council's first choice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Agreement with Miller and Meier and Associates for
architectural services for the design and development of a municipal complex
with authorization and approval of the separate phases of the Agreement to be
made by subsequent Council action.
SECTION 2: That the City Manager is authorized and directed to make
appropriate members of City Staff available for cooperation with the
architects for the necessary input to allow the architects to accomplish their
agreed tasks.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately

upon adoption.
