CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83-O�lv� _.
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING RESOLUTION #R-83-260
AND CONFIRMING THE FINAL MILLAGE RATE FOR
THE CITY OF TAMARAC FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983/84
AT -
LARS ($1,000.00) ASSESSED VALUATION ) ;AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Broward County Property Appraiser certified
pursuant to Florida Statutes the assessed value to the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, on July 29, 1982 (within 30 days of certification
of value by the Property Appraiser) the City of Tamarac advised
the Property Appraiser of its proposed aggregate millage rate, of
its rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statutes, of
the date, time and place at which a public hearing would be held
to consider the proposed millage rate and the tentative budget; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser utilized this information in
preparing the notice of proposed property taxes pursuant to Florida
Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser mailed this notice not later
than 45 days after certification of value pursuant to Florida
Statutes; and
WHEREAS, on September 13, 1983, 7:00 F.M., the City of Tamarac
conducted a first public hearing on the proposed aggregate millage
rate; and adopted Resolution #R-83-260 setting a proposed final
millage rate of 2.564 mils for Fiscal Year 1983/84; and
WHEREAS, on September 26, 1983, 7:00 P.M., the City of Tamarac
conducted a final public hearing on the budget and taxes for Fiscal
year 1983/84, and approved a final millage rate of _2.25 mil_s...($2.25
per One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of assessed valuation).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing recitations of fact are true
and correct.

SECTION 2: That Resolution °#R--83--260 is hereby ratified and
that the final millage rate for the City of Tamarac for Fiscal Ye
1983/84 is hereby confirmed at 2.25 mils or $2.25 per One
Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) assessed valuation.
SECTION 3: That the public hearings for the adoption of the
1983/84 Fiscal Year millage rate and budget have been held pursuant
to all prerequisites of Florida Statutes and the CityrCharter.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 'day of 1983.
