CITY M' TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION N0. R-83- 260
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL MILLAGE
RATE FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1983/84 AT 2.564. MILS ($2.564 PER
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) ASSESSED
VALUATION); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Broward County Property Appraiser certified
pursuant to Florida Statutes the assessed value to the City of
Tamarac on July 1, 1983; and
WHEREAS, on July 29, 1983 (within 30 days of certification
of value by the Property Appraiser) the City of Tamarac advised
the Property Appraiser of its proposed aggregate millage rate, of
its rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida statutes, of the
date, time and place at which a public hearing would be held to
consider the proposed millage rate and the tentative budget; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser utilized this information in
preparing the notice of proposed property taxes pursuant to Florida
Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser mailed this notice not later
than 45 days after certification of value pursuant to Florida
Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has conducted a first public
hearing on the proposed aggregate millage rate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing recitations of fact are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That the proposed final millage rate for the City
of Tamarac for Fiscal Year 1983/84 is hereby established at 2.564
Mils or $2.564 per one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) assessed
valuation.,

SECTION 3_:_ That a final public hearing will be held
for adoption of the final aggregate millage rate and budget
on Monday, September 26, 1983, at 7:00 P.M.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
