CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-81-160
GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING FOR SABAL
PALM PLAZA BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF ADDITIONAL
SPACES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, after a Public Hearing thereon, the City Council
granted a waiver of parking requirements by permitting an addi-
tional 20 spaces above those on site until the City Council en-
counters any problems, by adoption of Resolution No. R-81-160; and
WHEREAS, the City has encountered no problems since -the adop-
tion of Resolution No. R-81-160; and
WHEREAS, a petitioner has come to the City Council proposing
to increase the required parking by two (2) spaces thereby in-
creasing the waiver to twenty-two (22) spaces in order to change
the use of the area to include a barber shop; and
WHEREAS the City Planner has determined the need for the ad-
ditional two (2) spaces, pursuant to City Council action on
June 8, 1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Resolution No. R--81-160 granting a limited
waiver of parking requirement for Burkard Plaza N/K/A Sabal Palm
Plaza, 5100 West Commercial Boulevard, is hereby amended to permit
an additional two (2) parking spaces to the twenty spaces granted
in Resolution No. R--81-160.
SECTION 2: That three additional shade trees are to be
planted on the northeast portion of the property with approval of
the Consultant City Planner pursuant to Council action on June 8,
1983, prior to issuance of an occupational license

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediatel
upon adoption.
