CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83-190
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS TO
CALL THE BOND POSTED BY COLONY WEST COUNTRY CLUB,
INC. FOR COLONY WEST CLUBHOUSE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE,
WHEREAS, Colony West Country Club, Inc., as principal, has filed
with the City, Letter of Credit No. SBO130 in the amount of $32,689.5
with Summit Bank, N/K/A North Carolina National Bank (NCNB); as suret ,
thereunder to guarantee Colony West Clubhouse public improvements; an
WHEREAS, the Letter of Credit is due to expire and there is not
properly completed work; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work is not
properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true and
correct.
SECTION 2: That the Letter of Credit No. SBO130 in the amount
of $32,689.50 posted by Colony West Country Club, Inc., as principal,
and Summit Bank N/K/A North Carolina National Bank (NCNB), as surety,
is hereby called by the City of Tamarac unless said Letter of Credit
is renewed and extended by the Colony West Club, Inc., by July 25,
1983.
SECTION 3: This. Resolution shall become effective upon adoption
