CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-8 3-Z4( 4K _
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS
TO CALL THE BOND POSTED BY MONTWOOD, INC. FOR
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH WOODMONT
TRACTS 68/77; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Montwood, Inc., as principal, has filed with the City
Letter of Credit No. 1402-00302683 in the amount of $33,301.68 with
The First National Bank of Chicago, as surety, thereunder to guaran
public improvements associated with Woodmont Tracts 68/77;and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not properly
completed work; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work is not
properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA.
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true and
correct.
SECTION 2: That Letter of Credit No. 1402-00302683 in the amoun
of $33,301.68 posted by Montwood, Inc., as principal, and the First
National Bank of Chicago, as surety, is hereby called by the City
of Tamarac if an extension has not been provided to said bond on or
before July 25, 1983.
SECTION 3: This Resolution is effective upon adoption.
