CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--83- 180
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION
TO ALLOW A PUBLIC AUCTION ONE DAY A WEEK IN A
B-2 ZONING DISTRICT REQUESTED BY JOEL AND CATHY
PUGATCH D/B/A FIRST FEDERAL JEWELERS IN FAMILY
MART SHOPPING PLAZA, 7110 NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE,
PETITION #11-Z-83; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the
granting of special exception to permit a public auction in a
B-2 Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has
been given an opportunity to express their viewsconcerning the
application for Special Exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the
petition for special exception would be in keeping with the
public health, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to permit
a public auction one day a week in a B-2 Zoning District requested
by Joel and Kathy Pugatch d/b/a First Federal Jewelers, Petition
#11-Z-83 at Family Mart Shopping Plaza, 7110 North University
Drive, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. All selling to be done indoors in reserved section of 1,500 square feet ox
2. No outdoor speakers;
3. Restricted to hours of 7:00 P.M. to 10:30 P.M.;
4. All appropriate occupational licenses to be obtained.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall became effective upon adoption. -.
