OF BEER AND WINE REQUESTED BY QUEEN OF THE SEA, INC., AT 6101
N. UNIVERSITY DRIVE, PETITION #40-Z-82; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the granting of
special exception to permit the consumption of beer and wine on the premises of
Queen of the Sea, Inc., at 6101 N. University Drive, (formerly International House
of Pancakes) ; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has been given
an opportunity to express their views concerning the application for special
exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the petition for
special exception would be in keeping with the public health, safety and general
welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to permit the
consumption of beer and wine at Queen of the Sea, Inc., 6101 N. University Drive,
(formerly International House of Pancakes), is APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. That payment is made as promised in the amount of $400.00 monthly
until a total of $5000.00 is received which is to be applied to
traffic signalization at the intersection of University Drive
and N. W. 61 Street.
2. Renewal of the 1983-1984 occupational license will be conditioned
upon up-to-date payments referred to in Condition 1 above.
3. The hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., local time.
4. This license is not transferable to any other individual or to any
other location.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
