RESOLUTION NO. R--83- 179
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION
TO ALLOW A DRY CLEANING ESTABLISHMENT FOR
DIRECT CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A B-2 ZONING DISTRICT
REQUESTED BY DRY CLEAN, U.S.A., IN THREE LAKES
PLAZA, 3204 WEST COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD, PETITION
#5-Z-83; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for
the granting of special exception to permit a dry cleaning
establishment for direct customer service in a B-2 Zoning
District; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public
has been given an opportunity to express their views con-
cerning the application for Special Exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that
the petition for special exception would be in keeping with
the public health, safety and general welfare of the City of
Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the petition for special exception to
permit a dry cleaning establishment for direct customer
service in Bay 33 and a portion of Bay 34 in a B-2 Zoning
District requested by Dry Clean, U.S.A., Petition #5-Z-83
at Three Lakes Plaza, 3204 West Commercial Boulevard, is
HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval: This approval is granted for
on -site cleaning from customer drop-off and pick-up at this location only.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
