A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
WITH CONSULTING ENGINEERS,WILLIAMS, HATFIELD AND STONER TO
MODIFY FEES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of Williams, Hatfield and Stoner was engaged
in 1971 to act as Consulting Engineers; and
and
WHEREAS, the City authorized engaging said firm in Resolution No. 71-29;
WHEREAS, the parties have subsequently modified Exhibit B pertaining to
hourly fees in 1974, 1976 and in 1979; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend said agreement to reflect a new
schedule of fees necessitated largely by increases in the cost of living.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the appropriate City officials are authorized to execute
that fourth Amendment to Agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof and to pay
_hourl_Yfees_ at the rates set forth in that document
starting June 27, 1983. All prior modifications to Exhibit B (1983 Revision) of
said Agreement heretofore agreed to by the parties which are not in conflict, are
hereby ratified and confirmed. All Resolutions and Parts of Resolutions including
without limitation that portion of Resolution 71-29 in conflict herewith, are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 2: This Resolution will be effective upon adoption.

FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT entered into this
—41L-211— day of 1983.
WHEREAS, Engineer was engaged by City in 1971 to provide consulting
engineering services; and
WHEREAS, rising costs due largely to inflation have necessitated
periodic modifications of the hourly rates charged by Engineer; and
WHEREAS the parties agree to increase the hourly fees paid to Engineer..
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained
herein, the parties agree to amend Exhibit B of the 1971 Agreement for Consulting
Engineering Services, as subsequently amended, between the City of Tamarac and
Williams, Hatfield and Stoner.
The Exhibit B to be used henceforth is attached hereto as "Exhibit B (1983 Revision)".
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands the day
and year first above written.
