RESOLUTION NO. R-83-/j!�yo
A RESOLUTION RELEASING TWO PERFORIIANCE
BONDS POSTED FOR WATER DISTRIBUTION AND
SEWAGE COLLECTIO14 IITPROVE11ENTS BY
F & R BUILDERS, INC., FOR THE ASHMONT/
KINGS POINT PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, F & R Builders, Inc., as Principal, and Citibank,
N.A., as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit NABG-R90449F
in the amount of $31,935.50 to guarantee the water distribution system
improvements and Letter of Credit NABG-R9045OF in the amount of
$20,955.25 to guarantee the sewage collection system improvements for
the Ashmont/Dings Point project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has found that the work has been
satisfactorily completed and has recommended release of said bonds
upon receipt of a one-year warranty bond in the amount of $16,105.14
($10,663.24 for water and $5,441.90 for sewer) and the payment of
additional engineering fees due in the amount of $534.35.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Letter of Credit NABG-R90449F in the amount
of $31,935.50 to guarantee the water distribution system improvements
and Letter of Credit NABG-R90450F in the amount of $20,955.25 to
guarantee the sewage collection system improvements for the Ashmont/
Kings Point project posted by F & R Builders, Inc., as Principal, and
Citibank, N.A., as Surety, is HEREBY RELEASED, subject to receipt of a
one-year warranty bond in the amount of $16,105.14 ($10,663.24 for
water and $5,441.90 for sewer) and the payment of additional engineer-
ing fees due in the amount of $534.35.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon adopti
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED thisday of 1983.
