CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83- 156
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION
TO ALLOW A LAUNDERETTE TO OPERATE IN A B-1
ZONING DISTRICT REQUESTED BY ROBERT C. SULLIVAN
IN SHOPS OF TAMARAC, 8521 WEST MCNAB ROAD,
PETITION #7-Z-83; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Tamarac provides for the grant-
ing of special exception to permit a launderette to operate in a B-1
Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public has been
given an opportunity to express their views concerning the application
for Special Exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that the
petition for special exception would be in keeping with the public
health, safety and general welfare of the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Petition for special exception to permit a
launderette- to operate in a B-1 Zoning District requested by
Robert C. Sullivan, Petition #7-Z-83 at Shops of Tamarac, 8521. West
McNab Road, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1. Launderette to be a closed operation;
2. Operating hours to be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.;
3. An attendant to be present at all times the launderette is in
operation.
SECTOPM 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of June 1983.
