CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 83- , '
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE CITIZENS
ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM;.PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac wishes to continue its participation in
the Broward County Community Development Block Grant Program; and,
WHEREAS, Federal requirements of Title I of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 requires citizen participation; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Citizen Participation Plan is:
1. To provide citizens with an adequate opportunity to participate
in an advisory role in planning, implementing and assessing the
program.
2. To provide citizens with adequate and timely information so as to
enable them to be meaningfully involved in important decisions at
various stages of the program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Ccurminity
Development Block Grant Program is hereby reactivated and the following persons
are hereby appointed as its members for terms to expire 12/31/83
FLORENCE BOCHENEK
PHILIP SOLOMON
RAYMOND MUNITZ
SECTION 2: That this Committee shall remain in existence until abolished
by Resolution.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective inanediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of January 1983.
