CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-83-
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENT AND POLICY
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC TO PURCHASE AMERICAN-MADE
SUPPLIES, MATERIALS AND EQUIPME14T WHENEVER POSSIBLE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, is
concerned about the continued increase of imports into the
United States of America; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is concerned over the loss
of jobs because of this continued importing into the United
States of America.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That it is the intent and policy of the
City Council of the City of Tamarac to purchase American -made
supplies, materials and equipment whenever possible.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall take effect immed-
iately upon its passage.]
